Dr. Richard Haass is the President of the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as an accomplished author and diplomat. His work has influenced U.S. foreign policy in many regions of the world, such as the Middle East, South Asia, and Northern Ireland. He has also written over 12 books, including "A World in Disarray."
Dr. Haas will speak for 30 minutes on pre-selected topics. After this, the floor will be opened up to students to ask questions. This conversation will be moderated by Dean Reuben E. Brigety, II, Dean of the Elliott School of International Affairs.
